How can we help?

Email [email protected]Every board is a stack of rows, and each row hides five words that secretly belong to the same category — fruits, rivers, composers, and so on. The tiles start scattered, so you drag them between rows until each row holds one complete group. When all five in a row are correct, it seals shut with a strip of washi tape.
An Inkling is a gentle hint. When you ask for one, the app quietly links two tiles that belong to the same group — pointing you toward a connection without solving the whole row for you. It’s just enough of a nudge to get unstuck while keeping the discovery yours.
You earn Stamps simply by playing and solving puzzles. Spend them in the in-app shop on cosmetic extras — washi-tape palettes, tile papers, and confetti effects — so you can make the desk feel like your own. They’re purely for fun; they don’t affect difficulty.
It’s one shared puzzle that everyone gets each day. Solve it to keep your daily streak going, and when you’re done you can share a spoiler-free emoji grid of how your solve went. Same puzzle for everyone, your own path through it.
No. Word Tack is calm by design — there’s no clock and no penalty for putting a tile in the wrong row. A move is just a move. Slide it somewhere else and keep going.
You can clear everything from Settings → Reset all progress. Keep in mind that your progress is stored locally on your device, so resetting can’t be undone, and there’s no cloud copy to restore from. If you’re moving to a new device, your saved progress stays with the device it was made on.
Yes — fully. Word Tack needs no internet connection to play. Everything runs on your device, so you can sort tiles on a flight or anywhere with no signal.
Word Tack runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. It’s designed to feel great on both, whether you’re playing one-handed on a phone or relaxing with an iPad.
